To celebrate Children’s Day, 78 enthusiastic and sprightly students of DPS KP-V visited the National Rail Museum on 16th November, 2016, in the company of their beloved teachers and friends.
The buses echoed with the excited cries of the children of Classes Nursery to III , as they travelled across Delhi, pointing out to the landmarks on the way.
On reaching the museum , they queued up in a disciplined  manner and boarded the toy train which took them on an insightful and fun filled ride through the museum grounds which were dotted with carriages and engines belonging to the Indian Railways

On disembarking from the train they settled down on grassy patches and had hot slices of pizza which were arranged to be delivered on the spot. A Chocopie , biscuits and a fruit drink further satiated their appetites. Thereafter , they went for a tour of the museum where the exhibits caught their attention and curiosity. There, they were familiarised with the wide array of models of engines and other paraphernalia associated with the Indian Railways.
On their way home, they were given colouring books and crayons as gifts to commemorate their special day. Much enriched and thoroughly overjoyed, the children returned to their homes where they would regale their parents with memorable anecdotes from the trip.
